Adopt a Great Pyrenees (long coat)

Great Pyrenees (long coat) Dog

Samson the Dog needs a home

Meet Samson. Samson is a four year old, purebred, neutered (and up to date on shots) Great Pyrenees. True to the breed, this boy is vocal and likes to protect his family. For this very reason (and some bark complaints), his family is having to rehome him due to the close quarters in which they currently live.

Samson exhibits many of the familiar traits Pyrenees are known for - barking, protectiveness, and loyalty. He likes to look out for his owners and will bark / growl when people approach his home. Upon introduction from his owners, he does just fine.

Samson is great with kiddos and would be a loyal family pet. He hasn't shown any attempts to get out of a fenced yard, but like all Pyrs, will require a good fence to keep him home and safe. He'd most enjoy a family that includes him in their lives and doesn't leave him home alone for long periods of time, as it makes him nervous. He is good with other dogs; we're unsure about cats.

He'll be a great buddy and protector for a family that loves and understands the Pyr personality. Is that you?

Samson is currently being fostered in Missoula, MT; GPRM will assist with his transport to his new home.
